But more importantly, SEARS needs your time & ideas.  

 

Fosterage of animals in recovery and/or waiting to find their 'fur-ever homes' is a vital way you can help us, and a heart-warming way to make a difference to deserving animals.  Foster homes require:

 

- residents to be non-allergy sufferers

- children resident 10 years or older only please

- any other animals in the house must be healthy

- separate spare room for foster animals (preferred)

- must be willing to keep the foster animal indoors at ALL times

 

Materials or Merchandise - you or your business can assist by donating supplies, pet accessories for immediate use or merchandise for fund raising events.  We'll try to acknowledge everyone we can (unless you wish to remain anonymous of course.)

 

'Barn Raising' - during the summer of 2015 in particular, SEARS needs time & materials to create a permanent Shelter on our President's property, the 'SEARS Sanctuary'.  This building has been carefully thought out with the future needs of the animals & volunteers in mind, and even donating just a few hours will make a vital difference.  We need:

 

- Masons

- Roofers

- Plumbers

- Electricians

or other related trades

 

any materials you can spare such as:

- tools

- lumber

- shingles

- tar paper

- nails, screws

- wire & electrical fixtures

- pipes & plumbing fixtures

- bags of cement, concrete, soil & seed

 

supplies & accessories

- wet & dry dog & cat food

- clean bedding in good condition

- cages & carriers, also in good condition

- gently used toys, scratching posts & cat condos

 

- plus vehicles & drivers to transport materials, volunteers & animals

 

Online Time - lastly, consider using your own web sites or social media to promote SEARS and spread the word about our goals & good work.  This can also be done on your time from the comfort of your own home or office, and go a long way to fur-ther the cause...
